PS Championship Main Event: Day 2

Day 2 of the PS Championship Main Event opened with 115 players returning from a field of 749 entries, each guaranteed a share of the TWD 22,245,300 prize pool. After ten levels of play, only 14 remained led by series newcomer Loy Abdo.

Abdo accumulated most of his chips on a cooler that eliminated two players simultaneously. David Erquiaga followed closely, maintaining 92 big blinds after time at the top. Shixiang Khoo rounded out the top three, entering Day 2 as second chip leader and maintaining top tier status throughout most of the day. Day 2 chip leader Ming Ken Thoo slipped in rankings but still bagged a respectable 24 big blinds.

Monster Stack: Day 1 Recap

The Monster Stack event attracted 130 entries at TWD 16,500 each, building a TWD 1,853,300 prize pool. Money flowed starting at 20th place, with Day 1 concluding after the field reduced to nine players.

Won Jong Lee emerged as clear chip leader and sole player with a seven-figure stack, finishing with 1,820,000. This nearly doubled his closest rival Beng Hong Ker, who ended with 935,000.

Play continues Monday, March 9 at 11AM. Each remaining player is guaranteed TWD 54,000, with TWD 478,000 reserved for the champion.

High Roller Megastack: Day 1

The High Roller Megastack attracted 64 participants on Day 1, crushing the guarantee to exceed TWD 2.5 Million. Registration remains open through Day 2 on Monday, March 9 at 11AM, with potential to reach TWD 3 Million. Buy-in is TWD 50,000 with 150,000 starting chips (25 big blinds).

Twenty-nine survivors return led by Gyeong Beom Kim with 1,136,000 chips, equivalent to 227 big blinds at day's close.

Yunying Jheng Wins First PS Trophy at International Women's Day Special

Celebrating International Women's Day, the special event waived tournament fees and awarded complimentary Event #89 tickets (worth NT$7,500) to the top three finishers.

Nineteen participants generated a TWD 109,500 prize pool distributed among three places. Yunying Jheng claimed her inaugural Players Series title, earning TWD 55,000 as top prize.

Tsz Hin Chan Survives The Bubble Rush

The Bubble Rush drew 28 entries creating a TWD 201,000 prize pool. Tsz Hin Chan claimed the title, defeating Tsz Hin Chow at heads up for his career second Players Series side event victory, taking home TWD 81,000.

Another Trophy For Ray Chang at Big-O

Ray Chang, visiting from California, secured his second Players Series trophy. His first came at PLO Double Board nearly a week prior; this one at the Big-O event.

Drawing 36 entries and creating a TWD 140,000 prize pool, Chang converted his TWD 4,500 buy-in into TWD 53,000.

Shengfu Yu Takes Down the 6-Max Turbo

The 6-Max Turbo attracted 68 participants for a TWD 369,200 prize pool shared among 11 finishers. Shengfu Yu defeated Takahiro Sui at heads up to claim his first Players Series win and TWD 113,800 top prize.

Yih Chia Shaw Wins All-In Or Fold (3 Bullets)

After 14 previous cashes, Yih Chia Shaw finally captured a long-awaited trophy. She topped a 48-entry field in the All-In-Or-Fold (3 Bullets) event, defeating Warrick Wee at heads up to secure the title and TWD 67,000.

The PS Championship III Taipei concludes within its final two days, with remaining events and trophies available through March 10 at Asia Poker Arena.
