PS National Cup

Running for over an hour, the bubble round finally came to an end with King Chung Wang Philip delivering the knockout. 

Wang paired his nine on the flop and it held to end Flight B and establish the final 13 ITM players.

The bubble round continued with another double up for short-stacked Hou Chien An.

After the blinds passed ailing stacked  Hou Chien An, he dropped further down to just 1 big blind then found a spot to toss it in. Big blind Guo Jin Zeng was committed to go heads up. 

Zeng was ahead with the ace and even paired up on the flop. However, with three diamonds landing on the board, Hou survived the scare and lived to fight another hand.

Wing Hong Chu was the overwhelming chip leader at the start of the level, but his fortunes quickly changed after a series of losses sent him into the danger zone. Lin Yi Tsun was the first to capitalize, scoring a double up with a big blind special.

Next hand saw a board 6♣3♣A♦8♠2♦ with Wing firing on the flop and river. Hsin Tong Pan called. Wing flipped over 8♣7♣ second pair, Pan shipped the pot with A♣4♣ top pair.

The board bricked forcing Wing to pay out once again. 

Three consecutive coolers for Chang Yao Hsien and each one drew shocks across the felt. 

Following a min-raise, Chang Yu shoved 35,000, then Kung Li squeezed all in to successfully isolate the action. 

Kung Li kicked off the hand with a raise to 4,000 and only button player Lin Yi Tsun gave her action. 

Registration for Flight B of the PS National Cup closed with 85 entries, bringing the cumulative tally to 141 entries. There are currently 39 players remaining, with the field playing down to 13 players, each one guaranteed a spot in the money round.
