Day 2 of the Natural8 Open Main Event is now complete at PS Championship II Taipei 2025. From a total of 609 entries across six opening flights, 105 players return to battle it out, and after ten grueling 60-minute levels, just 10 remain standing.

The overwhelming turnout smashes the TWD 7,000,000 guarantee, pushing the prize pool to TWD 9,836,700. Each of the remaining contenders has secured at least TWD 131,000, but the focus remains firmly on the TWD 1,500,000 awaiting the eventual winner.

Bagging the chip lead is Fabian Schmidt, who closes the night with a towering 5,705,000 — the only player to surpass the five-million mark. Schmidt builds steadily from the early stages and gathers momentum as the day unfolds, eliminating multiple opponents along the way, including Kim Jae Won and 13th-place finisher Shao Chien Peng, whose pocket kings fall short against Schmidt.

Trailing behind is Kuang Hung Lee with 3,090,000, while Hsuan Chueh Hao rounds out the top three with 2,730,000.

The day also sees the fall of starting chip leader Jacob Yong, whose pocket nines are cracked by Jaeseong Hwang after a jack pairs the board, bringing his run to an end in Level 22.

Day 3 resumes at 11:00 a.m. local time with blinds at 20,000/40,000 and a 40,000 big blind ante. With just ten players left and the stakes climbing, every decision becomes magnified. Flight E of the Natural8 Open Main Event attracts a massive 260-entry field, with 39 players advancing to Day 2 after a full day of action.

Leading the survivors is Chen Feng Wen, who bags 510,000 chips to finish as Flight E chip leader. Close behind is Fabian Schmidt with 499,000, followed by Su Po Yu on 372,000.

Also among the top stacks are Niko Koop with 325,000 and Ng Yu Hin carrying 319,000, all positioning themselves strongly for the next stage of the Main Event.

Flight B of the Natural8 Open Main Event sees 29 entries take their shot, with only five players advancing to the next stage.

Leading the survivors is Peng Shao Chien, who bags 346,000 chips to finish as Flight B chip leader. Close behind is Lin Shaow Kai, carrying 238,000, while Robert Nemeskeri Kiss rounds out the top three stacks with 163,000.

With five players successfully moving forward from this flight, the path toward Day 2 continues to take shape as more contenders look to build momentum in the Natural8 Open Main Event.

Flight C of the Natural8 Open Main Event attracts 139 entries, with 21 players advancing to the next stage after a full day of action.

At the top of the leaderboard is Jacob Yong, who bags a commanding 541,000 chips to finish as Flight C chip leader.

Close behind is The Naing with 420,000, followed by Kim Minku on 291,000. Also finishing strong are Paul Yugendra with 288,000 and Kyle Bao Diep with 248,000.

With Flight C now complete, the momentum continues to build as players position themselves for a deep run in the Natural8 Open Main Event.

Flight A of the Natural8 Open Main Event draws 53 entries, with only 8 players advancing to the next stage.

At the top of the counts is Song Juchan, who bags 414,000 to finish as Flight A chip leader.

Close behind is Lin Wei Kai with 398,000, followed by Lu Rui on 241,000 and Lee Hung Te with 237,000. Also advancing is former PS Main Event champion Lai Hsuan Yu, who carries 137,000 into Day 2.
