Main Event Day 3: Final 9 Set as He Zong Chi Claims Chip Lead
After just over seven hours of intense play, the PS Main Event field has been trimmed from 47 players to the final nine. The pressure mounts throughout the day, with six Taiwanese contenders securing seats at the final table.
Leading the way is He Zong Chi, who surges late to bag the chip lead. His defining moment comes when he eliminates Fu Sheng Kuang in 10th place, locking in his position among the final nine and climbing to the top of the counts.
Right behind him is Lee Shun Hei, sitting just one big blind off the lead after a powerful performance that includes knocking out Day 2 chip leader Chen Po Jui in 11th place.
The final nine return on Monday, December 23 at 1 PM, where the battle resumes for the TWD 2,503,000 top prize and the biggest moment of the festival.
