Natural8 Open Main Event Establishes Final 9 Players

Day 2 of the Natural8 Open Main Event commenced with 86 players returning from 565 total entries, each guaranteed a share of the TWD 8,054,700 prize pool. At the 21-player mark, Hong Kong's Hon Leung Ip took control of the action.

After winning a significant pot when Kun Sen Liao's bluff attempt failed, Ip built a commanding chip lead he maintained throughout the day. He eliminated Young Jong Lee (14th), Kwon Tae Young (13th), and Hyeung Il Lee (11th), bagging over four million chips, approximately 100 big blinds.

Kristof Segers removed Mai Ko Ho in 10th place, establishing the final table of nine competitors.

The final table will be broadcast live on the Players Series YouTube channel beginning at 11:30 AM.

PS Championship Main Event: Flight A

The PS Championship Main Event launched with its first of six entry flights, attracting 64 entries competing for a TWD 20,000,000 guarantee. Ten players secured money, including Yohwan Lim, who recovered after finishing 23rd in the Natural8 Open Main Event.

Flight leader Kim Kiyoung accumulated 832,000 chips, considerably ahead of second-place finisher Wei Kai Lin at 506,000. Play concluded at 2,000-5,000 blinds with 5,000 ante.

Flight B commences Thursday, March 4 at 12 PM with a TWD 33,000 buy-in.

Thailand Celebrates Parit Ovadhana's Victory at the Sunday Superstack

Thailand secured another championship when Parit Ovadhana claimed victory at the HOPS Sunday Superstack. This represented Ovadhana's first international live poker tournament win and inaugural PS trophy.

The event drew 236 participants paying TWD 10,000 each, generating a TWD 2,016,400 prize pool. Out of 37 money finishers, Ovadhana earned the top prize of TWD 436,000.

Shu Ju Chen and Shu Fang Chen Keep It Tight At The Femme Alliance

The Femme Alliance women's teams event attracted 23 entries, creating a TWD 68,100 prize pool. Taiwan teammates Shu Ju Chen and Shu Fang Chen claimed victory, each receiving a pink trophy and TWD 25,300.

Notably, Shu Fang Chen captured her second pink trophy this series, having won the Ladies First Women's Event on opening day.

Second Win For Taowei Chang At PLO 4/5/6 (Dealer's Choice)

Following a 25th-place finish in the Natural8 Open Main Event, Taiwan's Taowei Chang dominated the PLO 4/5/6 (Dealer's Choice) event. He outlasted a 20-entry field to claim TWD 85,900 from the TWD 170,900 prize pool, earning his second series championship.

Thanapong Kaewthong Wins PS Thailand Exclusive

Thailand's Thanapong Kaewthong captured the PS Thailand Exclusive, collecting a trophy and THB 32,000 in PSC III travel package prizes.

Hong Kong's Man Hin Cheung, competing on the Taiwan live circuit since last month, won the PLO Double Board Bomb Pot by defeating Britain's Alfie Adam in heads-up play. Cheung denied Adam a second series victory and claimed TWD 61,900 from the TWD 150,400 prize pool.

Recreational player Lan Peng earned maiden gold at the Turbo Event, defeating 106 competitors to transform a TWD 6,500 investment into a TWD 157,500 payout.
