Player Series Championship IV rolled through another fun-filled day at Asia Poker Arena in Taipei City, Taiwan with bounties being hunted, wild turnarounds, and plenty of hardware being claimed.

The headliner Natural8 Open Main Event concluded two more flights while Tung Wing Wong and Kin Wai Kwong were among the day's most memorable runs to victory.

Away from the big-ticket events, the first ladies title was also claimed by Lin Chienyu at the Bounty Huntress. Scroll down for the Day 3 highlights.

Sponsored by Natural8, the Natural8 Open Main Event completed another two flights to bring the cumulative tally to 188 entries. Kicking off the day was Flight B which drew 70 entries, joined by 56 more runners who took their chances at Flight C.

As Flight B approached the bubble, a big pot worth 37 big blinds was up for grabs between Pei Hsi Lin and Xiang Sheng Tham. The board showed 9♥8♠A♥Q♦2♥. Xiang checked, Pei fired and took down the pot without a showdown. The boost in chips pushed Pei into the lead, eventually bagging 294,000 (73 big blinds).

At bubble time with 12 remaining, Anthony Goh open shoved 23 big blinds from under the gun and was called by big blind Lin Wei-Kai who had the covering stack.

Goh's J♣10♥ was dominated by Lin's A♦Q♣. The board offered no escape as it ran A♣Q♠4♦9♣Q♠ giving Lin a full house and in turn sending Goh out on the bubble.

At Flight C, Fu Ki Anson Choy was sitting on the largest stack by the time the bubble round was at hand with 10 players remaining. Action was tense at his table with Soh Chee Wee staring down a bet from Kazuki Fukuda on a board K♦J♦J♠5♠8♥.

After Wee used up all of his five remaining time banks, he hero-called and Fukuda acknowledged "nice call", while turning over 9♥5♥ bottom pair. Wee won the pot with K♠10♦ top pair. The loss left Fukuda with three big blinds and proceeded to shove repeatedly to bring it up to 19 big blinds by the time the bubble burst at the other table.

Jeon Jinwoo went all in for his last three big blinds. He was called by satellite qualifier Rathi Anand and Ori Kossonogi. At the flop Q♣Q♦5♥ Anand initiated a side pot but Kossonogi folded. Anand had Q♠10♠ trips, Jinwoo with A♦6♥. The turn 4♣ and river 4♠ sealed Jinwoo's fall on the bubble.

Flight C Survivors List

The survivors now have a day off before returning to action on Day 2 which takes place on Sunday, August 23 at 11:00 AM.

As they wait, next up are Flight D and Flight E, both taking place on Saturday, August 22. These are the final two flights offered for this event and your last chance at the NT$ 5,000,000 guaranteed prize pool.

Flight D starts at 11:00 and Flight E (Turbo) begins at 17:00. Buy in is NT$ 16,500.

Natural8 Open Super High Roller: Day 1 Results

The Natural8 Open Super High Roller brought the heavyweights to the felt, with each player ponying up the NT$ 55,000 buy-in for a shot at another of PSC IV's marquee titles.

Part of the appeal of the PSC high roller menu is its accessibility. For this level of event, players can take on a deep structure and chase a prestigious title without having to break the bank.

And there is still time to get in. Registration remains open until the start of Level 13 at 1:35 PM on Day 2, Saturday, August 22.

At Day 1, seven players out of the 15 entries bagged up. Leading them back in is Dicky Tsang Siu-Hang with 832,000 (104 big blinds). Tsang knows this particular title well, having won the event at PSC II last year.

Just one small blind behind Tsang is Teeraphat Rangkatekarn with 829,000 (103 big blinds). Teeraphat is in hot pursuit after coming close to victory just yesterday, finishing runner up at the N8 Open High Roller.

Speaking of that event, newly crowned champion Wipawadee Kanaraksapong is also still in the hunt, giving her another shot at high roller hardware. In a brief exchange, Kanaraksapong confidently predicted she would be hoisting this trophy as well.

Clutch Victory for Tung Wing Wong at HR Megastack

Tung Wing Wong couldn't believe it himself. At the High Roller Megastack, with five players remaining, Wong suffered a big hit to his stack to drop to three big blinds, and yet somehow, he found a way to still win it.

Running over two days, the HR Megastack drew 33 entries at NT$ 45,000 each, for a prize pool of NT$ 1,283,040. Once the money was reached, with only the top five earning a share, Kuo Kai Ma shoved and Wong called. Both players had ace-king and percentage-wise were destined for a chop. That is, until Kuo completed a flush with his one diamond.

This sent Wong down to three big blinds and only had one move. To go all in. On uncalled shoves, his three big blinds grew to seven big blinds then he doubled up to fifteen big blinds. The rest is history.

Kwong Wins Mini Mystery Bounty; Chu Pulls Biggest Bounty

Every Mystery Bounty event offers different ways to win big, and at PSC IV, the brand added another twist to the popular format. In the Mini Mystery Bounty, the top 20% of each starting flight advanced to the final day, with every survivor guaranteed a shot at the mystery bounty prizes. The catch? Only the top 15% of the field would earn a share of the regular cash pool.

After a total of 257 entries poured in across three flights, 52 players advanced to the final day. With blinds running at a brisk 20 minutes, players hit the rail quickly and ITM was reached in no time.

Making the most of the fast action was Kin Wai Kwong who had already collected eight knockouts before reaching the final table. His momentum never slowed to enter heads up against Yen Ting Chou who led the counts at the start. Five hands later, Kwong was champion.

With plenty of trophies still on the mantle and another ten days of games ahead, there are still plenty of chances to join the action and leave PSC IV with some hardware of your own.
