Chao Ting Cheng Wins the PS Championship Super High Roller for NT$ 1,096,400
Seungmook Jung came within touching distance of winning the PS Championship Super High Roller for a second time, but he could not close it out at heads up. Standing in his way was the tough Cheng Chao-Ting who refused to give Jung an inch. Instead, the lead bounced between them until blinds were critical.
Seungmook JungCheng finally took command and closed it out to clinch his first-ever Players Series title. Along with the trophy, Cheng earned the NT$ 1,096,400 top prize.

Cheng On a Tear
When the field trimmed to two tables, Cheng Chao-Ting was sitting on just 12 big blinds, one spot from the bottom of the counts until everything changed when he rivered a set against Jason Lau's top two pair. From there, Cheng caught fire. He eliminated Kim Youhyun and then Si Ng Pun to charge into the final table running fourth rank with a hefty 61 big blinds.

With only five players reaching the money, the short stacks quickly fell away as the bubble approached. Players Series Ambassador, Dylan Wayne - who avoided the bubble at last night's PSC Main Event Flight B - wasn't as fortunate this time. His pocket sixes ran into Seungmook Jung's pocket nines to send him out one spot shy of the money.
Jung also gobbled up Troy David Mcfarlane Mclean's chips to bring the field down to four players and take firm control with the biggest stack. Cheng, however, wasn't about to let him run away with it. The two banged heads twice, with Cheng winning both clashes to catapult into the lead.
After Leung eliminated Teng Yang Hoo in fourth place, Jung remained second in chips until a double-up through Cheng sent him straight back to the top. Jung tried to create more separation, but Cheng stayed within striking distance, doubling through him to keep the chase tight.
Cheng then eliminated Leung in third place to set up the final showdown. There was little between them at the start, with Jung holding 35 big blinds to Cheng's 30 big blinds.
Heads up stretched across 53 hands and saw momentum swing repeatedly. At one point, Jung pulled to a sizable lead and came agonizingly close to finishing it, only for the crucial hand to end in a split pot.
From there, the lead continued to bounce back and forth until Cheng strung together a succession of pots to finally create some distance.
This time, Cheng didn't let the advantage slip away. He pressed home the lead and eventually sealed the PS Championship Super High Roller title with a winning trips, denying Jung a second crown.
