Ting Pang Tsai Runs Hot to Clinch Natural8 Open Mini Main Event Title
What a rush! In just four hours of final day play, Ting Pang Tsai bulldozed his way through the final table, railing six of his eight opponents to clinch the Natural8 Open Mini Main Event title. Along with his first ever PS trophy, he earned a career high prize of NT$ 280,628.

Winner's Race to Victory
The highlight event kicked off its final day with 23 returning players out of the 402 entry field with the largest cuts of the NT$ 1,846,627 prize pool up for grabs.
With blinds increasing every 20 minutes, action was nonstop that the final table bubble was reached in no time. It took two attempts for Tsai to deliver Ming Che Yang in 10th place. The first hand was a split pot, the next, Tsai dominated from start to finish.
Tsai entered the final table second in chips behind Urashima and immediately went to work. On just the second hand, he sent Marti Miras Nadal out in 8th place then knocked out Ji Hwan Kim who called to his doom in 6th place. Kim had kings, Nadal had the nut flush.
The cards continued to fall Tsai's way. Yu Jen Chen was ahead at the showdown against Tsai's but the river paired up Tsai to send Chen out in 5th. Kin Wai Kwong followed in 4th after then Yuta Segawa could not get past Tsai's ducks to finish in 3rd place. That sent Tsai into heads up with a commanding advantage over Urashima.
It lasted exactly one hand. Tsai jammed, Urashima called for his tournament life, then Tsai flopped a straight to deliver the final elimination. Just like that, Tsai completed a blistering run to the title for his first ever PS trophy.
