Cards Now Flying! Players Series Championship Is Back in Taipei for Its Fourth Edition
Players Series is back in Taipei!
Starting today, August 19, the Players Series Championship IV, sponsored by Natural8 - Asia's largest online poker platform, takes over Asia Poker Arena for thirteen days of nonstop action.
Running through August 31, the festival offers plenty of ways to hoist PS trophies with buy-ins ranging from NT$ 2,000 to NT$ 120,000.
The 104-event lineup includes a wide variety of games and formats: bounties, deep-stacked events, women's events, a solid high rollers menu, and daily PLO action.
Two Main Events
At the heart of it are two Main Events. The first is the Natural8 Open Main Event, featuring a buy-in of NT$ 16,500 that's backed by a NT$ 5 Million guarantee.
Later in the series is the main headliner PS Championship Main Event with a buy-in of NT$ 33,000 and a NT$ 15,000,000 prize pool in tow.
The PSC Main Event has proven to be a lucrative hunting ground. Previous champions have walked away with payouts over NT$ 3 Million and the chance of this edition paying out the same is very high.

Schedule: Livestream PSC IV Events
Currently underway is the PS National Cup with all three entry flights running today. Making its debut at PSC IV, the event offers players an early opportunity to build up their bankroll with NT$ 1,500,000 guaranteed for a buy-in of just NT$ 10,000.
Flight Starting Time:
- Flight A: 11:00 (25 minute levels)
- Flight B: 15:30 (25 minute levels)
- Flight C: 20:00 (15 minute levels)
Familiar Faces and Streaks to Watch
The Players Series has built a strong following among international players, and South Korea has consistently attended in droves. Expect plenty of familiar faces to make their way back including several with impressive PSC records to defend.
At the top of the list is Kim Kiyoung who had a sensational run at the previous series, winning the PSC Main Event and the PSC Super High Roller.
Then there is Kurt Jung Seungmook with a unique streak intact. Jung has won one marquee high roller event at each of the PSC editions. He will have a chance to extend that run with seven high roller events on offer.
Taiwan's Lin Chung-Tang has a streak of his own as well. Lin won the Natura8 Open High Roller back-to-back with a potential three-peat on the horizon.
There will also be a new badge at the tables. Australia's Dylan Wayne arrives as the first Players Series Ambassador.
Since testing his chances on the Asian circuit in 2023, Dylan has become a familiar personality at the tables, sometimes heard singing, often firing up the table, and always keeping the mood lively and jovial.
Keep an eye out for Dylan, though we doubt you'll have trouble spotting - or hearing - him. His high energy is quite contagious.
PSC IV Rolls Out Five Women's Events
PSC IV also puts a strong spotlight on women's poker with five dedicated events spread across the series.
The lineup includes Bounty Huntress, Queen of Heads Up, The Femme Alliance, and Ladies' Night, each one providing another opportunity to take home the distinctive PS Pink Trophies reserved especially for these events. One exception is Queen of Heads Up, where the champion will take home the lone Tiffany Blue PS Trophy.
Headlining the women's schedule is the Women's Main Event which will receive added attention with live coverage from start to finish.
